With a Master’s in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State, I spent the early part of my career designing bridges at HNTB. While my tools have shifted from CAD to QuickBooks, my core objective remains the same: building systems that are resilient, efficient, and built to last.My transition into the financial world began at an engineering company, DAQTron and as a founding owner of Wrecking Bar Brewpub, where I discovered a passion for the "mechanics" of business—HR, operations, and bookkeeping. I later volunteered eight years as the Treasurer for the Inman Park Festival and worked six years as Corporate Accountant for Green Property Advisors, refining my ability to manage complex financial landscapes.
